Socio-cultural climate into which I was plunged was an experience like no other. Beijing University was a universe of its own and I have never seen a university campus of that size. During my stay in Beijing I tried to take as much as possible of the city landscape but during the final days of the program I realized that I haven’t even seen the whole campus. Life outside of the campus has been even more vibrant than my life within the campus. There is no touristic spot recommended by TimeOut Beijing which I have not visited.
I visited a fair share of non-tourist places as well and met people which introduced me to magical Beijing. I love the fact that this has not only been a study abroad experience in Beijing, but an trip in which I’ve got to understand better the whole China.
This is an experience I would suggest to everyone, as it help me grew in ways I never knew I was able to.
