In an era driven by technology, it’s not surprising that legal operations teams are turning to data collection and analysis to rein in spending – and MSL grads like Jessica Lynch are helping to lead the charge.
In an article for Legal Dive, Lynch – who works for healthcare-tech firm VillageMD – writes about how legal operations teams can leverage data-driven tools and process-based protocols to steer corporate recovery programs and keep company expenditures in check. Lynch’s team is doing just that by uncovering uncollected funds for the company that would have otherwise been left on the table.
Lynch reviews several tactics she has tried to make her organization’s recovery program a success – including serving as a torchbearer for innovation and recruiting other stakeholders.
Showing and coaching other team members is a key part of the process, Lynch says. “The hustle comes in not giving up when someone says no, as well as utilizing different approaches to collaborate and keep the program moving forward.”
