It’s been a couple of weeks since I’ve gotten back from Shanghai and this program’s almost over???I think one of the greatest things I’ve learned so far about China is the diversity in food. Food from provinces such as Sichuan or Zhejiang have completely different flavors, all great in their own ways and unique to each other. Anyways, Shanghai was no exception and the food there over the long weekend was amazing. The last couple of weeks have moved by super quickly. Relative to the first four weeks of the program, the last two weeks seemed at most like a couple of days. I’ve began feeling regret because I’ve only recently discovered how vast China is. There are just so many places to visit and see due to the numerous ethnic minorities within it.
I’m planning on fitting a trip to Tianjin, a thirty-minute ride away, and the whole program seems rather keen on visiting inner Mongolia. Hopefully that trip will work out and we can all go together.
