Exploring bits of Argentina

I landed in Buenos Aires on one of the last warm mornings of the summer of 2020. Without knowing that there was a three-week ticking clock, I felt that I wanted to take advantage of that extra day I had. I took a nap and went for a long-run near my apartment. This was probably the best decision I could have made. I was able to see the Casa Rosada (the executive branch building), ministry of defense, the area of San Telmo (local markets), the Boca Junior stadium (“La Bombonera”) and some docks at the port.

On my second weekend in Argentina, the program took us to see the Iguazu Falls, one of the wonders of the world, in the northern part of the country. It was extremely warm and humid. We had the opportunity to cross into Brazil and see the falls from there as well. The place has an amazing wildlife scene, great views, and amazing weather. Here are some pictures I took.
