Utilization of Power in the Middle East through the Lens of Media and Politics
In my video presentation, I summarized my intent in pursuing the Media and Politics minor. Given my political background and being Lebanese/ Palestinian. I grew up being fed different political ideologies and I decided to pursue the minor to learn more about different aspects in media. My main theme is power, and its correlation with media and how political leaders use media to create their own propaganda and lead their own agendas. Regardless, nowadays, young adults have managed to harness the power of media to spread the truth, transparently and that is one of my highlights. The sudden rise of young activists in Palestine and Lebanon further attributes to my point. Additionally, my video summarizes my experiences and the direction I wish to take in life after pursuing the minor and having broaden my areas of interest to law.
