The Influence of the Media in Conflict
This project is a reflection of the knowledge and skills I have gained throughout the minor program. The intersection between media and politics is an ever-evolving field, and the goal of this capstone project is to demonstrate the impact of media on politics and how politics shape media, with the central theme being the role of the media in conflict as well as transitional justice approaches in post-conflict states. This video will delve into the role of media in shaping public opinion, the effects of media on political discourse as well as the global order. The video also examines the different ways countries deal with conflict and how that could be different depending on the political, economic, and cultural background of the country. Through this video, I hope to showcase the complex interplay between media and politics.
