Negotiations of Identity: Media, Religion, Politics

I have decided to pursue the media and politics minor in order to expand my perspective on the topics that I’ve come across throughout my educational journey; it has allowed me to shape my way of thinking in a more critical and analytical manner. It widened my understanding as to how far politics can go or to how media can be an influence by the way they represent issues and address the underlying themes that I found common among them. I chose to tackle the notion of identity in terms of media, religion, and politics. I believe that representation is important since it affects many aspects in many entities.
