Modern-Day Soft Wars

I am a Communication major at Northwestern University in Qatar (NU-Q), with a minor in Media Politics. I have taken courses at Georgetown University in Qatar and the main campus. My presentation discusses the courses, ‘soft’ war ideology, and my discoveries through research. My coursework inspired my decision to study how relationships between modern-day media and politics are intertwined. My paper discusses the topic of ‘soft’ war. Modern-day soft wars have led to growing tension between nations, which has driven a new outlet that aggressively allows nations to interact with each other indirectly. Nations’ indirect aggressive interactions are where my idea of soft war developed.
