Hi everyone,

We will have our next rendition of the Farha Group Safety Extravaganza on Friday, March 26th from 1-4 pm. It will be held over Zoom and attendance is mandatory. If this is your first safety extravaganza, our group holds an overview of safety topics related to our lab operations to ensure everyone knows / understands the safety policies in place as well as for us all to identify ways to further improve our safety practices.

The below Google spreadsheet gives the assignments for the topics. If you are assigned a topic, please make a <5 minute presentation that concisely covers basic safety information / protocols about your topic. Please adhere to the time limit as we have a lot of topics to cover and likely questions/ comments will follow some presentations. I attached one as a reference from the 2019 extravaganza. Additionally, please use the Farha Group .ppt template (link) to make your slides. This way everything is in the right aspect ratio when it’s all combined at the very end, and I will be very appreciative.

Please send me your slides by Wednesday, March 24th at 6 pm so I can combine them in time for Friday. I’m looking forward to seeing the slides that everyone comes up with, let me know if you have any questions!

Thanks,
