Hello users!
Selim and I have been in the lab this week checking on instrumentation and implementing new protocols for sample testing. Good news, all the instruments are in good condition! We are ready to accept samples for testing next week!
As I said in my previous email, in an effort to minimize the risk to individuals in the lab, we are restricting access to REACT space. However, in order to accommodate your research needs, we are offering a sample submission service, where Selim or I will run your analysis for you. Below, I have detailed the steps for using this service.
- On the REACT homepage on NUCore, click “REACT Sample Submission” under the consulting group
- On the next page, click the “Add to cart” button
- Choose your chart string and continue
- Click on “Complete Online Order Form”
- In the order form, you will be able to submit several samples for a single analysis (if you need multiple analysis performed, you need to submit multiple forms)
o First enter in the sample information
o Next, select the appropriate instrument
o Enter in the relevant information for the experiment you selected
o Select “Attach to Cart”
- In the “Cart” screen, submit the form by pressing the “Purchase” button (you do not need to change the quantity value)
- After REACT staff has reviewed your order, they will create your instrument reservation, send you a notification of the reservation, and contact you with any questions
- Drop off your sample(s) at the REACT sample drop off next to Neil’s office (Catalysis 220) at least a day before your scheduled analysis
- REACT staff will send you a notification after your analysis is complete, and send you your results
- Your sample will be available for pick-up in the same location you dropped it off
Samples will be run on a first submitted, first serve basis, so be sure to submit your requests soon!
If you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask.
Stay safe and healthy!
Neil
