X-Ray Facility Open, Pandemic Mitigation Procedures in Place

Hello,
The X-ray Facility is open and you can begin making reservations in Nucore. We do have Pandemic Mitigation Procedures that you must follow. Read this at:

We also have a new PXRD instrument available, Smartlab G2 3kW. Users can easily switch from transmission, refection, or capillary mode geometries. This instrument utilizes a high-flux elliptical multilayer x-ray optic for fast data collection and excellent counting statistics. The system is equally suited for inorganic materials. Other features include: auto-sample changer and 0/1/2D detector. See me if you are interested in using the Smartlab G2 3kW or would like a demonstration.
