Fall 2025 Move-in for new first-year and transfer students will take place between 8:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 9, 2025. Returning students may move in beginning at 8:00 a.m. on Friday, September 12, 2025.

First Night Northwestern
Welcome Wildcat Family! All of Northwestern’s live-in staff and faculty are eager to welcome you! Join us for a night to remember on Tuesday, September, 9th 2025! Residents will be hosted to First Night Northwestern which will include activities across our Residential Spaces. New students are invited to sample everything regardless of which area they are living in. The evening will feature:
North Area

- La Cocinita Food Truck (North Lawn)
- Silent Disco (Schapiro 101)
Northeast Area
- Frio Gelato Food Cart (outside Lisa’s Cafe)
- Giant Slide (Fraternity Quad)
- Glow in the Dark Mini Golf (Goodrich Quad)
- Nicky V’s Hot Dogs Food Truck (outside Sargent)
South Area
- Airbrush Swag (University Lawn – outside 1838 Chicago)
- Savory Crust Food Truck (University Circle)
- Trivia (Allison Game Lounge)

Southwest Area
