Willard Fitness Room
The Willard fitness room has the same high-quality equipment as the Henry Crown Sports Pavilion without the long walk so you can save your steps (and time) for the treadmills, ellipticals, and stairmasters. Residents of the Southwest Area just tap their Wildcard to get in. The vibe is super chill. You don’t have to worry about power lifters trying to outdo each other. You also don’t have to wait for equipment. While popular, the Willard fitness room is never overcrowded, in part because it’s open 24/7, which allows residents to get in some exercise when their schedule permits or the spirit moves them.
Willard Piano Lounge
The Willard Great Room serves as a piano lounge for the Southwest Area. The beautiful grand piano complements the decor of the space and the acoustics make it a great location to tickle the ivories. Area residents often enjoy hearing a tune on their way to check mail, meet friends at Fran’s Cafe, or go to class in Willard B72. There is no sign-up list or auditions to worry about. Whether you’re rehearsing for a performance or want to get a Billy Joel sing-along going, this is the spot for you!
Foster-Walker Basement Lounge
The Foster-Walker Basement Lounge is a popular hangout for Southwest Area residents. Aside from the big TV and gaming consoles, residents enjoy the foosball, pool, and ping-pong tables. It’s a great option if you’re waiting to have a meal upstairs or if you just finished eating and want to relax before heading out.
