Ben Gorvine, Faculty-in-Residence

Being a Faculty-in-Residence has been one of the great pleasures of my Northwestern career. I do a lot of teaching, advising, and mentoring in the Psychology Department, but getting to know students across the Southwest Area over the past six years has been a very different and rewarding proposition. Whether it’s a Whirlyball outing for some friendly competition, a fancy pre-show reception and trip to see the myriad of amazing Northwestern theater productions. regaling students with a wide array of Oreos (who knew there were so many flavors??) for a Sunday-night study break while challenging students with Psychology trivia, or hosting a casual dinner or game night, I always enjoy the opportunity to interact with students outside of the classroom.
