Ceramics Night

Ceramics Night

Every quarter, the Southwest Area Council hosts themed ceramics painting! Kicking the year off with Spooky Ceramics, Southwest Area residents enjoy boba, cookies, and Halloween-themed pottery. While each ceramics night’s theme changes every quarter, this evening gives you the chance to explore your creative side and take home a professionally glazed ceramic piece!

Snacks by Southwest

Residents of the Southwest Area know that Snacks by Southwest will come every week. What they don’t know is the food or the entertainment. Will it be Hecky’s Barbecue or a taste test of 28 flavors of Oreos? Will Boomshaka be performing live or will Ben, the Faculty-in-Residence, play his curated 80s playlist? The best way to find out is to join the masses for our weekly Southwest tradition!

"Wine" and Cheese Night with Ben and Amy

Ben (Faculty-in-Residence) and Amy (Partner-in-Residence) love going to the theatre. They regularly organize Southwest Area outings to productions on campus. Evenings begin with a “wine” and cheese reception in their apartment at Willard Hall. After mingling and eating lots of snacks, the group walks over to the theatre. These events are a great way to get to know Ben and Amy and enjoy a night on the town at no cost.
