Area Leadership Team

Elizabeth Lenaghan, Faculty-in-Residence

As a scholar and teacher interested in new media’s impact on culture and expression, I have a special appreciation for face-to-face interactions and  the value of a regular digital detox. Being a Faculty-in-Residence is a perfect fit because I get to engage with students and make sure we all look up from our screens. I live in Elder with Jason, my husband, and we look forward to hosting events in our home and other North Area venues. Some will have an academic flair, but we’ll also be sharing our passions like movies and college football.  And doughnuts. Lots of doughnuts.

Welcome to the North Area! I’m excited for the 2023-24 academic year, which will be my third year as the Resident Director for Elder. I love being so close to the lake and hope that you take advantage of all the beautiful outdoor space we have in our area. Be sure to find me and other North Area leadership team members at one of our area events this year!
