About

We intended to provide CANS information and support for all stakeholders involved with the youth in-care and families that Illinois serves.  There are over 6,500 IDCFS trauma-Informed CANS certified professionals (and growing) working with Illinois youth and families since 2007.  We are here to provide CANS support “in the moment” that is no more than 3 clicks away from your work.  You will be able to find support here to assist in preparing for the initial certification, all the way through scoring the CANS to support case/treatment decisions, and utilizing CANS data to make programmatic decisions.  If you cannot find the support you need here, please contact us or register for a CANS training.
