Intensive Placement Stabilization (IPS)

IPS is a short-term placement stabilization program that provides services to children in foster care. IPS is expected to provide a mix of formal and informal supports to families to promote placement stability. As such, each service array is flexible, individualized, and tailored to the needs of the child and family. A typical service array might include individual and family therapy, respite, family support, crisis intervention, recreation supplies, tutoring, school advocacy, and psychosocial education. Placement

Placement-Permanency services are provided to youth and families that have experienced temporary custody being taken from the parents and given to DCFS and its assigns. Families are assigned a primary caseworker to support them through the process of establishing safety, well-being, and permanency.  Caseworkers employ a family-centered, trauma-informed, and strength-based focus while providing families with an array of services and support. Integrated Assessment  (IA)

The Integrated Assessment program offers comprehensive assessments and integrated case planning activities for children and families entering into protective custody. This process looks at the medical, social, developmental, and educational factors of both the child and adults involved in a case. This draws on perspectives of both the caseworker and screeners to provide a thorough clinical assessment to create more informed decisions regarding service interventions for cases coming into care. Community Based High Fidelity Wraparound

High Fidelity Wraparound (Wraparound) uses an individualized, team-based, collaborative process to provide a coordinated set of services and supports. The target population is children and youth with complex emotional, behavioral, or mental health needs, and their families. Throughout the process, youth and their families work with a Wraparound coordinator who convenes, facilitates, and coordinates efforts of the wraparound team. Learn more…
