Engagement Opportunities with the President

This periodic series provides meaningful opportunities for limited staff to engage with the President and to hear university-wide updates, learn about the institution’s direction, and address key staff concerns. These events promote open dialogue and help strengthen communication and connection between staff and University leadership.

Growing Your Career Workshop

An annual workshop supported by the NUSAC HR subcommittee aimed at providing professional development and training opportunities for staff to advance their careers and create opportunities to network and connect with colleagues outside of their departments.

Mobile DMV

The NUSAC Communication subcommittee hosts periodic opportunities on the Evanston and Chicago campus for staff to renew or update their driver’s licenses and state IDs, purchase license plate stickers, and register to vote with the Illinois Secretary of State Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV).

Staff Connections

NUSAC’s Outreach subcommittee hosts Staff Connections, a quarterly engagement opportunity for staff to come together, share information across silos, and learn about different NUSAC and University programs and initiatives.
