Northwestern University Staff Advisory Council (NUSAC) Engaging and Amplifying Staff Voices

We invite all Northwestern staff to join in our University-wide community engagement efforts with this year’s Winter drive!  

Opportunities are available to engage supporting four community organizations, beginning now through Saturday December 31, 2022. The generous donation of time or resources will have a tremendous impact on the community.

Contributions will continue to be accepted year-round, supporting our internal community support organization, NUCares.

Giving Your Time 

 

Cradles to Crayons: Saturday, December 3rd and Wednesday, December 14th, 1:30-3:30pm 

 

Greater Chicago Food Depository: Wednesday, December 21st, 9:00-11:45am 

 

 

Giving Needed Items or Financial Support 

 

Family Focus Evanston: On or before Thursday, December 1st, non-perishable food, winter coats, gift cards and family gift matching 

 

Little Brothers Friends of the Elderly: On or before Wednesday, December 7th and Saturday, December 31st, individually wrapped chocolates, gift cards and online giving 

 

 Greater Chicago Food Depository: On or before Saturday, December 31st, online giving to support food purchases for Chicagoland area food insecure 

 

NUSAC members will be participating in volunteer and giving opportunities and we look forward to meeting new or renewing old connections through our Winter drive this year.
