What does being a part of NPEP mean to you?
Being a part of NPEP is a dream come true for me. I am excited about expanding the knowledge I already have, and receiving a degree to show my children and others that no matter where you are at, you can continue your education to be a better you, whoever that may be.
Why did you decide to apply to NPEP and what are you most excited about?
I decided to enroll in NPEP because I am constantly on my children about school and how can I be if I am not in school. “Practice what you preach” is what I believe. I am really excited about graduating with a degree.
What is something you would like people to know about you as a student?
I am a very determined student, but often self-doubts come into play. I often don’t have faith in myself.
If you could have dinner with anyone, who would it be?
If I could sit down with anyone for dinner, it would be Maya Angelou, Oprah Winfrey, and the Obamas.
