Born in Brooklyn, New York. Raised in Peoria, Illinois.
What is your favorite field of study/topic?
Psychology mentorship.
What does being a part of NPEP mean to you?
This is a chance for me to show my growth. It allows me a chance to show my family, community, and myself what it takes to shine. This means redemption, education, and discovery.
Why did you decide to apply to NPEP and what are you most excited about?
I applied to NPEP to show my son that even in the darkness there is light — and that chase leads to more light. I am most excited about educating myself in hopes of educating others.
What is something you would like people to know about you as a student?
As a student, I am overly curious and open. I am willing to learn almost anything because then I can teach it to someone else. P.S. I am a self-admitted NERD when it’s something I love or fall in love with it.
If you could have dinner with anyone, who would it be?
I would have dinner with my sons.
