Psychology, with an emphasis on abnormal psychology.

What does being a part of NPEP mean to you?
It’s an incredible opportunity that is allowing me to meeting my goals. As a now-single mother of three, who can no longer work in my original field of study, this degree will help me tremendously. I am also able to prove to my children that no matter what life brings your way, you can overcome it and be successful.
Why did you decide to apply to NPEP and what are you most excited about?
I need to switch gears and obtain my degree to support myself and my babies. I’m most excited about continuing my education and proving to the world (and mostly myself) that I am still strong, motivated, and capable.
What is something you would like people to know about you as a student?
I’m extremely dedicated and driven to succeed. Anything I pt my mind to, I excel. As a result, I’m an excellent student, who will make all past, present, and future cohorts proud.
If you could have dinner with anyone, who would it be?
My kids! I miss them so much, words cannot express. No matter if I’m here, or when I get home, I never want to miss a single dinner with them ever again.
