Where are you from?
Born and raised in Selma, Alabama. I lived on the North Side of Chicago in the Uptown area.
Why did you decide to apply to NPEP?
To get my bachelor’s degree. I am excited about learning social sciences.
What does being a part of NPEP mean to you?
A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
What has been your favorite NPEP reading so far?
The legal writing we’ve read. Being imprisoned, my life is engulfed in law.
What is something you would like others to know about you as a student?
I want to do my best no matter what.
What is a fact about yourself others might find surprising?
I am wrongfully convicted of first-degree murder.
