Originally from Brookline, MA, Lyra Johnson (she/her) is pursuing a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree while completing her bachelor’s degree in Anthropology, Global Health Studies, and Music, with a minor in Data Science. A student in the Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences Accelerated Public Health Program, Lyra will begin her graduate coursework in the fall of 2022 and graduate with her MPH from Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine in 2024. Lyra first became involved with NPEP when she was a teaching assistant for Dr. Sera Young’s NPEP course “Biocultural Perspectives on Water Insecurity.” She is thrilled to contribute to NPEP’s incredible work.
