I joined NPEP in June 2024 and am a part of the Wellness Team. I am currently completing a Master’s in Counseling at Northwestern University and participating in a Clinical Fellowship at Depth Counseling. At Northwestern, I am the Student Leader of the Psychodynamic Student Group and I work in Dr. Erika Lawrence’s Violence Intervention Project which studies an Acceptance and Commitment Therapy intervention with domestic violence perpetrators. I am also working with two faculty members and another member of the Wellness Team (Christine Castorino) on an article that will discuss a psychodynamic understanding of sexual abuse by examining a published case study and other relevant literature. In my clinical experience, I have worked with traumatizing narcissism, depression, anxiety, chronic pain, and complex trauma. I hold an undergraduate degree in Music Therapy with a minor in Psychology from Montclair State University. My clinical experience in music therapy includes individual private practice, hospitals, memory care, schools, and group homes. After I complete my current graduate program, I plan to pursue a dual degree program in Clinical Psychology (PhD) and Law (JD) in the hopes of researching treatment for adolescent sex offenders and restorative justice.
