Cohort: 2

Where are you from?

Chicago’s South Side.

What is your favorite field of study/topic?

I don’t have one yet.

What is something you would like people to know about you as a student?

I tend to diversify with different forms of style, art, and music. I value the quality of love and loyalty, honor, and respect.

What does being a part of NPEP mean to you?

For me, NPEP is an integration that allows me to grow and learn how to be a wise leader at my best.

What course has had the biggest impact on you and why?

I have been able to enjoy all my courses in a different sense of experience with multiple perspectives for higher learning.

What is your favorite book or article that you have read in your NPEP classes?

“Cents and Sensibility” has become a great part of my literature collection! This book has allowed me to expand my thinking on factors that integrate humanistic insights and better economic analysis with the use of great literature.

What assignment (paper, project, homework) have you found the most rewarding?

I was fascinated when I did my research for my final paper on CHEM-201. I was able to write about crime scene chemistry for fingerprint detection. I was intrigued to know that one day the scientific community is going to have the capacity to abstract DNA from fingerprint-sweat compounds.
