Anna Zalokostas is a Ph.D. candidate in the English department. Her research interests include multiethnic US literature and culture since 1900, especially post-1965, Marxist-feminist theories of social reproduction, and transnational labor and migration. Her dissertation investigates the relationship between multiculturalism as a driver of American postwar literary history and globalization as a driver of economic history. Prior to graduate study, Anna worked as a bookseller and received her B.A. from Swarthmore College.
