Anna is an undergraduate double majoring in legal studies and Black studies with a minor in Asian American studies at the Weinberg School of Arts and Sciences. She also completed a certificate in civic engagement through SESP. She is passionate about ending mass incarceration and addressing racial discrimination within both the legal and carceral systems. She works to break the Northwestern bubble by volunteering weekly as a peer mentor at IDJJ Chicago to prepare students for college courses and by creating a community between Northwestern students and Evanston organizations like Connections for the Homeless and the Moran Center. She became involved with UPEP as a freshman and is currently the chair of the Operations IDJJ committee and would love to connect new students to the organization to find a role in UPEP!
