Provost’s Advisory Council

The Provost’s Advisory Council (PAC) oversees the conferral of bachelor’s degrees within the Northwestern Prison Education Program. Reporting directly to the Provost, PAC advises NPEP leadership as well as the School of Professional Studies Dean’s office on all matters related to the bachelor’s degree. The Board liaises with Deans and other University leaders to secure necessary resources for the bachelor’s degree while providing fiscal and operational oversight for all aspects of the degree program.

Faculty Advisory Council

The Faculty Advisory Council (FAC) is comprised of faculty members from various departments across Northwestern University. They assist with faculty training, recruitment and retention, and provide resources to instructors in the program.

Graduate Student Advisory Council

The Graduate Student Advisory Council (GSAC) is comprised of graduate students from various schools and departments at Northwestern University. GSAC manages and supports various aspects of the program, including academic and wellness support for students, program development, events, communications, reentry, and more.
