John Alba Cutler is an associate professor of English and Latinx Studies and the author of Ends of Assimilation: The Formation of Chicano Literature (Oxford, 2015). He teaches and writes about US Latinx literature, multiethnic American poetry, print culture, and the US-Mexico border.
