Students
Sheridan Students
As of Fall 2024, there are 70 students and alumni at Sheridan Correctional Center in Sheridan, Illinois. Cohorts 2 and 4 are working toward a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in social sciences, which will be conferred by the School of Professional Studies at Northwestern University. Cohort 3 is working toward an Associate in General Studies degree, which will be conferred by NPEP’s partner, Oakton College. Cohort 5 students recently enrolled in their first Northwestern courses.
Logan Students
As of Fall 2024, there are currently 20 students at Logan Correctional Center in Lincoln, Illinois taking courses for Northwestern credit.
