Cohort: 1

Where are you from?

Chicago.

What is your favorite field of study/topic?

Psychology.

What is something you would like people to know about you as a student?

I’m grateful for the opportunity. I try hard, and I’ll make them proud.

What does being a part of NPEP mean to you?

Being a part of this means I get a chance to start over. Not many chances like this are granted in life and most are missed.

What course has had the biggest impact on you and why?

Psychology, because it gave me the understanding of why questions need to continually be asked differently in order to find full reasoning.

What is your favorite book or article that you have read in your NPEP classes?

“Rational Choice in an Uncertain World: The Psychology of Judgement and Decision Making.” It helps with the opening of understanding.

What assignment (paper, project, homework) have you found the most rewarding?

My biology project/paper was the most rewarding because it felt free of constraint.
