Haley is a rising junior, studying Sociology and Criminology with a concentration in Race, Class, Gender, and Justice at DePaul University. She has completed studies on the transformation of extrajudicial killings, public attitudes regarding the death penalty, and the effects of race and place on incarceration. Haley aims to earn a J.D. after college and pursue a career in either criminal defense or human rights law.
Outside of the classroom, she volunteers with Legal Aid Chicago on a project that combats urban housing inequality. Haley is excited to push even further for justice and societal reform with NPEP.
