Debra Ann Blade’s journey at Northwestern University started prior to her entering as a first-year student in 1975. The journey reaches back farther to the first mention of institutions of higher education. It’s a passage of time filled with inequitable challenges, special people, death, and sacrifices leading to lessons in love and perseverance.
Debra is currently the Norris Programs and Recreation Assistant Director. She looks forward to retiring this December 2023, leaving behind a 44-year career at Northwestern.
