Research Interests
I am interested in the intersection between visual perception and creative thinking. My current project investigates how inducing global or local states of attention affect creative problem solving. Specifically, we want to understand how a certain state of attention may bias preference for solution by insight or by analysis. I am also interested in the role of creativity in the production of visual art and, more broadly, visual aesthetics.
