[My teacher] was incredibly personable and made discussions incredibly relevant to what we went thru everyday at work. He challenged us to think outside the box and created a great class dynamic where everyone really enjoyed attending discussion…I enjoyed how genuinely invested my supervisors were in me. They would always ask questions about the work I was given and help me better assess what my strengths and weaknesses were. The ability to tailor the internship to what I wanted was very important to me…I was given an in depth orientation the first day…CFS is the most structured “crash course” you can receive before entering the real world. The experience and things you learn are something you could never learn in a classroom. Of all the great opportunities Northwestern offers, CFS is one you must take advantage of.
