Check out this video by former RA Timothy Huang about why 2303 Sheridan is so special!
“CCS is the greatest place to live because of the amazing community. I felt welcome the moment I walked through the door and have found so many great friends. We also have the opportunity to explore and engage with the greater community on campus, in Evanston, and in Chicago. The fellows are also really friendly and approachable and let’s you make important and strong connections with faculty that you won’t get anywhere else. ”
-Nicholas Liou, WCAS’ 20
“CCS is home. There is no community on campus that I have found that is as welcoming and friendly as CCS. From my first day in the lounge, to months later when new members were joining as non-residents, everyone is always welcomed like they are family. I look up to the older CCS members and they, and my freshman peers are always available to talk to me and give advise. CCS is truly a place where a family is made.”
-Alan Grampp, MEAS’ 20
“I love CCS because it’s small but powerful! We do fun social events that take you to learn something about a culture and community (and their food!) As an international student, I feel so good to live in a community that does cultural stuff in a fun (and delicious) way. CCS is just like a big family where everyone is so good and close to each other. You’ll know it the moment you join us. ”
– Ivy Zheng, MEAS ’17
“CCS is really warm and welcoming, and of course tons of fun! Coming into Northwestern, I was afraid of getting lost in the overachieving crowd. But living in a res college as small and tight as CCS means that it’s easy to form close relationships. Most of my closest friends are from CCS or GREEN House, and I wouldn’t give it up for any other dorm. If you want to go out and party, you can. If you want to stay in and hang out with friends, you can do that too.”
-Lauren Thomas, WCAS ’17
Look forward to building community and making memories with new friends here at CCS!
