Why did you join NUSAC?  I joined NUSAC to learn more about the university, get to know other staff, and make an impact outside of my department.

What is the most important thing your NU staff colleagues should know about NUSAC? Staff should know that we genuinely care about their experience. The council represents staff from different departments, schools, and levels, allowing various voices to be heard.

What issue are you most passionate about related to improving the NU experience for staff? I am passionate about providing resources to meet staff where they are. We only see a portion of what a person is going through, and I appreciate NUSAC’s work to provide resources, including NU Cares, HR workshops, and a voice for staff to senior leadership.

What do you most enjoy about your work at Northwestern? I love working with students. I am always amazed at how much they grow and develop during their time here. It is incredibly fulfilling knowing I am a part of that journey.

What is a little-known fun fact about you?  I love being creative and expressing it in different ways. My undergraduate degree is in dance, and I played the piano and oboe until high school. I have also dabbled in jewelry making, painting, and puzzles.
