Why did you join NUSAC? I love Northwestern for countless reasons, but it’s the people, the supportive workplace culture, and the exceptional benefits that inspire me to stay year after year. Serving as a leader and representing our incredible staff is both an honor and a meaningful opportunity to help make Northwestern an even better place to work—now and for generations to come.

What is the most important thing your NU staff colleagues should know about NUSAC? It’s full of wonderful, hard-working people from ALL over the University! The diversity of the group brings such interesting insights, differing experiences, and valuable perspective to our conversations.

What issue are you most passionate about related to improving the Northwestern University experience for staff? Generally making Northwestern staff feel heard when they are voicing a want or need, as well as making sure staff feels valued and a priority at the University.

What do you most enjoy about your work at Northwestern? The people! This includes both the wonderful staff at Northwestern Career Advancement, as well as the students I get to work so closely with every single day. They are all so inspiring and keep me energized and grateful.

What is a little-known fun fact about you? I love interior design! This is certainly not something I get to do much of in my role as an advisor, but I spend my free time in home stores, thrifting, and rearranging my apartment.
