Northwestern University Staff Advisory Council (NUSAC) Engaging and Amplifying Staff Voices

The winter season is fast approaching, and we are excited to kick off our annual winter giving drive to support areas of our community, provide support virtually, and connect with more personalized giving during our winter season.

We are pleased to offer two community-based options for giving back this holiday season.

Family Focus of Evanston

Northwestern continues to partner with Family Focus on many levels contributing to their suite of family support programs for parents, children, and teens for more than 20 years.

• Family Match Program: Sign up here to be matched with a family or to commit to purchasing a gift card supporting a family’s holiday shopping.
• Winter Coat Program: Drop off your gently used coats in the NUSAC bins on the Evanston and Chicago campuses. See below for locations.

Little Brothers Friends of the Elderly

Little Brothers is a national network of non-profit volunteer-based organizations committed to relieving isolation and loneliness among the elderly.

• Elder Wish List: Please use this link to make a monetary contribution to fulfill an elder’s holiday wish.
• Chocolate Drive: You may also drop off bags of chocolates for distribution to holiday gift bags to the elderly at locations on both campuses through noon on Thursday, December 9. See below for locations.
• Wrapping Paper Drive: You may also drop off holiday wrapping paper at locations on both campuses through noon on Thursday, December 9. See below for locations.

Drop-off locations for the coat drive, chocolate drive, and wrapping paper drive during regular business hours are:

• Evanston Campus: Annenberg, 2120 Campus Drive, Room 120
• Chicago Campus: Rubloff, 420 E. Superior, 12^th Floor

Finally, If you are able, please also consider a contribution to NU Cares, a fund designed to assist staff and faculty through times of crisis.
