Why did you join NUSAC? I was new to working in higher education and wanted to learn more about NU and its landscape. I also wanted to learn more about the impact staff has on the university and how I can amplify our voice.
What is the most important thing your NU staff colleagues should know about NUSAC? We really do want to hear from you! We read every email message, comment, question, etc. that comes our way. Keep sending them or better yet – apply to join NUSAC!
What issue are you most passionate about related to improving the NU experience for staff? Issues around DEIA, hire and pay transparency, enhancing leave policies and staff recognition to name a few.
What do you most enjoy about your work at Northwestern? Lots of things! Proximity to the lake and the city of Chicago, the variety of work in my portfolio (no two days are the same) and the people I get to work with at my school but also across the university.
What is a little-known fun fact about you? Even though I’m from California, I’m a closet deep dish pizza fan. Don’t tell my husband!
