Bobb First Floor Lounge
The Bobb First Floor Lounge is a hub of community building in the Northeast Area. Thanks to its size, furnishings, and location, it’s a common site for area programs. Most of the time, residents are in there for any number of reasons as a group or on their own. Some people want to watch TV or play the piano, while others go to shoot pool or play ping-pong. It all depends on the time of day and day of the week. You’ll rarely find it empty, though.
Bobb-McCulloch Basketball Courts
The Northeast Area is the only area with two basketball courts. Located right behind Bobb-McCulloch, they’re used regularly by residents looking to shoot baskets or play a pickup game with neighbors. The Northeast Area team also uses the courts for outdoor editions of Snack Chat, yoga classes, and other events.
Henry Crown Sports Pavilion
If Northeast Area residents lived any closer to Henry Crown, they’d store their clothes in lockers instead of closets. Just steps toward the lake from any building in the area, Henry Crown has it all: weights; cardio; courts of all kinds; and more. The hours may not be 24/7, but everything you might want for your exercise regimen is available right by your campus home.
