Started as a Faculty-in-Residence tradition and now proudly carried on by the Area Council, this annual haunted house excursion brings residents together for a spooky night out in Skokie. Each year, a group of students heads off campus to experience the thrills, laughs, and jump scares that make Scream Scene a favorite Northeast tradition. Cheering on the Chicago Bulls has become a beloved tradition in the Northeast Area! Each year, the Area Council brings a group of students to the United Center for an exciting night of basketball, team spirit, and community-building off campus. 3v3 Basketball Tournament
The 3v3 Basketball Tournament is a Northeast Area Council tradition that brings together students who love the game—whether they’re student-athletes or just enjoy playing for fun. Hosted on the basketball courts right behind Bob-McCulloch Hall, this tournament creates a high-energy space for friendly competition, connection, and community.
