Cahiers d’études africaines publishes issues made up of previously unpublished articles that reflect cutting-edge research trends, both theoretical and field-based, and the discussions they generate. While interdisciplinary, the journal favors an anthropological and historical approach, and deals with Africa, the West Indies and the Black Americas in all their extensions. – Publisher
