Hi, I’m Chase Enloe and I work at Magnetar Capital for Chicago Field Studies. I began interning on the part time analytics team in February 2018, and have spent the Spring and now Fall quarters taking a CFS course alongside the internship. Magnetar is a leading hedge fund in the Greater Chicago Area and invests in a variety of financial vehicles such as equity, fixed income and private equity.

My job on the part time analytics team as a data management analyst is to ensure that processes are being completed efficiently to keep employees and investors informed and organized. This position is data intensive and involves using programs such as Microsoft Excel and SQL, Python and other data management applications. This internship allows students to gain exposure to the financial markets via daily processes while working on a close-knit team that is very collaborative.
