As an intern at Davidson and Seseri, an immigration law firm, I have had hands-on experience in working in the legal field. I have written affidavits, prepared cases for filing, attended court hearings, and participated in client intakes. One of my favorite experiences this summer was helping translate for a Spanish-speaking client. The attorney trusted me with this task, and it really made me feel like I was a part of the team.

In addition to my internship is my CFS class. I am taking Legal Field Studies, and honestly, it is one of the best classes I have ever taken at Northwestern. It is beyond informative, and every guest speaker has given me a different perspective on what it is like being a lawyer. The experiences from my internship and class have prepared me well as I consider a career in law, and I am truly grateful for the opportunities CFS has exposed me to!
