I’m currently working for 340 Partners. 340 Partners is a search fund. It looks for a single company to acquire for the long term. The partners of the search fund then become the CEOs of the company once acquired. It’s a great place to work and I’m grateful that I found this opportunity through CFS.
With CFS I was able to get exposure to many interviews and it opened doors to multiple opportunities. At 340 Partners I get to learn a lot about how businesses are valued, potential growth models and the finer details of due diligence. It’s a small and informal work environment, which means whatever work I do has meaning and is useful. My manager also cares about the interns and wants them to have a good internship experience.
The CFS class so far has also been great. The instructor is good and he helps us think more critically about our internship and work after college in general. It’s also nice to hear about other internship experiences and compare other work environments to our own. The class is definitely unique, and I think that I will remember many of the lessons I’ve learned through the internship and the class.
