Negotiations of Sapphic Identities in Interaction

Sapphics (women and those who are woman-aligned who are attracted to women and those who are woman-aligned) have developed strategies to covertly (or overtly) disclose and negotiate their identities to other sapphics, such as through flagging. Additionally, like all other cultures, sapphics navigate ongoing changes in community norms and identity labels.
We are interested in capturing and analyzing these interactional moments of identity disclosure, negotiation, and co-creation in the Interaction Lab.
