Quiescent hair follicles imaged in live animals

Research Overview

Our research program studies mechanisms that govern cell fate specification, stem cell maintenance, aging, cancer and human skin diseases. We use single-cell genomics and computational tools, live animal imaging and genetically engineered mouse models to study gene expression regulation mediated by transcription factors, epigenetic regulators, miRNAs and RNA binding proteins as well as metabolic genes at the single-cell resolution.
